Choosing PE Hose Diameter and Length

PE hose diameter and length are two visible differences between hose reel irrigator models. They help narrow the comparison, but neither figure should be used alone to decide whether a machine fits a field.
01 Record both diameter and length
The supplied SECOSETH model list includes 50 mm, 75 mm and 90 mm PE hose configurations. Listed lengths range from 200 m to 500 m across the eight models. Refer to the exact product entry when comparing these values, because every diameter is not offered at every length.
02 Compare the planned hose route
Show where the reel will be positioned, where water enters the field and how the hose will be laid out. Include obstacles, turns, slope and access for moving equipment. The planned route gives context to the nominal hose length.
03 Review hose choice with the water supply
Send available pump and water-source data with the hose comparison. Ask for the required flow and pressure for the exact model and sprinkler configuration. Check measurements at their stated locations rather than comparing figures that describe different points in the system.
