How Does a Hose Reel Irrigator Work?

A hose reel irrigation system combines a reel of PE hose, a chassis, a rewind drive and a sprinkler arrangement. The following overview explains the main stages shown in our website guide. Follow the model-specific operating manual for setup, checks and operation.
01 Position the equipment and unreel the hose
Plan the reel position, water connection and hose route before starting. Position the sprinkler cart at the required starting point using the procedure specified for the equipment. Check the route for obstructions and confirm that the working arrangement suits the field.
02 Connect the water supply
The water supply connects to the machine inlet. Confirm the connection, available flow and pressure against the selected model and sprinkler requirements. Connection details should be checked before operation, using the equipment instructions.
03 Irrigate along the planned route
Water travels through the PE hose to the sprinkler. The operating arrangement and rewind settings must be matched to the model and irrigation plan. Observe the instructions supplied with the equipment, and check conditions at the actual field rather than relying on a general illustration.
04 Rewind and prepare for the next position
